Upcoming Events

We encourage our students and their families to seek out healthy means of staying well. We do not offer any ongoing weekly programs for wellness, but this page will outline how Momentum introduces spiritual guidance using yoga, tuning forks, and more.

Tuning forks

According to Soma Energetics, tuning forks can be used to achieve "deep relaxation in seconds, reduce stress instantaneously, increase blood flow, enhance immune response, fully integrate body & mind, and transcend to higher levels of consciousness".

We use tuning forks in our center during short breaks with our students during tough sessions. For students with behavior or focus issues, these have proved especially effective in calming the mind.

Yoga

The frequent practice of yoga can have wondrous effects on the mind and body. It can reduce stress, create calm, stretch the muscles, energize the body, and increase flexibility. We are currently looking into getting yoga mats for the center for Fun Fridays and weekend events for Momentum families! If you have an old yoga mat, block, or ball that you'd like to donate, call and let us know!
