What is the Gifted - Talented - Strong Science Program?

Momentum's child-centered, hands-on science curriculum allows students to construct their own knowledge and understanding of the world around them. Students engage in the scientific practices of asking questions, planning and carrying out investigations, collecting, analyzing and interpreting data, and constructing explanations. An inquiry-based approach allows for students to learn how to plan and carry out their own experiments including asking questions, formulating hypotheses, controlling and

manipulating variables.

The goal of our curriculum is not to just master these basic science concepts, but to also explore them naturally while developing critical thinking skills and social-emotional skills.
