Students will learn comprehension, analysis of main idea, plot structure and theme.

Students will develop vocabulary and fluency.
6th-12th:

Students will learn to analyze poetry based on rhyme scheme, imagery, tone and metaphors as well as practice grammar and fluency.
Writing Workshop
K-2nd:

Students will learn simple and complex sentence structure.
3rd-5th:

Students will learn the basic paragraph structure.

Focus on topic sentences, supporting and concluding sentences.
6th-12th:
-
Students research colleges and universities as well as practice writing a five paragraph personal narrative essay.
Math Workshop*
K-2nd:

Students will learn basic place value, adding and subtracting
3rd-5th:

Students will learn intermediate math skills including fractions, decimals and long division.
6th-12th:

Students will learn to evaluate algebraic equations, graphing and word problems.
